1. cmoputer restarts... forced restarts.. black screen n then bios.. screen.. a lot of times...

2. Once i start the PC.. after bios screen.. the windows xp doesn not boot up....atleast 3 times restarts and then starts

3 . if i go in safe mode the problem persists... I have reinstalled winxp a couple of time...

4. Most impt.. the virus takes contrrol of Pc.. stops anti virus from runin..(forced restarts the Pc).. I have tried northon 2005 updates, avast free version, zone alarm.. all of them cant detect the virus... if i start the scan the computer restarts (black screen boot.. forced restarts ) i cant run "shutdown -a" ..becoz of this...

  1. To be honest, it really sounds like your harddrive is failing, and with those disk sizes, it is possible they are old drives (3+ years).  I believe this may be causing your BSOD's.

If you're adament you've got a virus, then in safemode run "Hijack This", it might find something the others don't.

  2. I think  hardware problem

  3. can you boot in safe mode with networking & do a free online scan:
