Computer virus problems- Pop-up noise only?

Question

For some reason, my computer has a virus where I will randomly hear noise from pop-up ads, but there is no visual. The oddest thing is that they usually come up when I am not even using the internet. Hmmmm...

Try a better antivirus program than what you have, I would suggest NOD32 or atleast Panda antivirus.

You can also scan your PC with multiple online virus scans to see if they can find any infections.  We have a list of free scans here: http://pcultracare.com/free_online_virus...

Scan so you know what is your infection and then research for removal instructions.
