I seem to have lost my Nero Photo Snap Viewer Essentials. It's still in my Desktop,but when I try to "open with.." it won't let me!

And I lost my cropping function in Paint and Pro...........

What's going on and how do I re-instate them? Thank you so much. And please,try to be concise and explain simply to a dummy!

  1. go to your system restore in control panel and choose a date to when you know it was working and press apply it wil then work if your not sure when it did work just take the date back as far as poss and reinstate that date!

    Make sure you save any photos or music etc youve recently put onto ure computer onto disc or something as you will loose anything youve put on ure pc from the date you use system restore xx

    These kind of problems can be tricky. Often the best and quickest fix is to reinstall the program. Then the question becomes--do you have the program so you can reinstall it? As to the Nero program, one of the people who has already answered gave you a link to use to download the Nero program. Often, you simply download the program installer (usualy ends in .exe) and then follow the on screen instructions for installation. Sometime the site you download from will have installation instructions you can print to follow later. If you need to remove the old Nero program, the new program's installer will usually tell you that and how to do it. If you still need help unstalling, tell us and we can go from there.

    As to PaintShopPro, hopefully you have the cd it came on or if you downloaded the program, you kept the installation program. If not, you can go to this site:

    and download a free trial copy. Then install it and see if it works. If it does, then at least you know how to fix the problem (reinstall). The bummer here is that free download is only good for a 30 days trial, then you have to buy it (79 dollars US). Sometimes you can shop online and get a better price.

    If this info does not help, expand in the details added section and someone, if not me, will probably be able to give you better answers.

    I assume that reinstalling does not work or that you cannot do that for some reason. When I get real desperate, I sometimes contact the company that put out the software, here Nero. If you go to this link http://www.nero.com/enu/support-form.htm...

    you will find a multipage form that you can fill out and send online to Nero's tech guys, and they say they'll get back to you.

    Wish I could help more, but it sounds like you need someone who's very familiar with the particular product and can communicate more directly and more in real time than we can on YA.

  3. As for your first program. Either the image file is corrupt or the Program is bad and must be reinstalled. To reinstall or install the latest version. You can look for it here.

    As for your second program, do you mean Paint Shop Pro? I tried google searching Paint and Pro but I found nothing.
