Computer won't shutdown?

My computer won't shutdown unless I push the power button. What could be wrong with it?

  1. save anytn ur doin at the moment nd unplugg it.. d'uh


  2. What exactly is the problem? Pushing the power button is quicker than pressing a virtual button, so again, why the complaining?

    i think your hardware is scratched.

  5. OMG wow what are you trying to ask how can you even turn your computer of without a power button i cant !

  6. Rule number 1: Check for viruses.

    Do you 'clean' your computer?, as in, run a scan such as window washer every day?. As you surf the net your PC will pick up cookies etc from sites that you visit,giving your computer lottts more to sift through every time it tries to shut down.

    May also need to be defragmented.
