Question:

Computer wont stop booting in safe mode (windows xp)?

I booted up my computer via msconfig recently and now it won't let me switch back to normal mode. When it goes in safe mode, a login prompt comes up, which I do not know the password to. I tried pressing F8 during the bootup process and selecting normal mode in the menu but it still boots up in safe mode.

How can I retrieve the password? Or is there another way to get into normal mode?
