Concealer/coverup question?

Question

What ( If any ) Is the difference between concealer and coverup? If they are different, do they work the same?

I'm pretty sure their the same, but I have people telling me different things :P

Also, what is your favorite brand of concealer/coverup?

Liquid, creme, stick ( Like that comes in a lipstick looking thing)?

concealer is really for under the eyes

and makeup is really coverup

covergirl is my favorite

it does not clog pores and  it really is a good concealer/makeup

My favourite concelaer is Mac! The liquid one is amazing and comes in a tiny portable tube. conceals blemishes, dark circles, you name it! I love it and is a reasonable price as well! :)

i like the aveda that comes in a lil tiny round jar.

it works really good and with a lil powder over it looks flawless.

concealer is more of a thicker, creamier product used to cover up things like blemishes, under eye circles, etc. most of the time, when people say cover up, they are actually referring to foundation, pressed/loose powder, or anything they use to even out their skin tone.

i use the soft yellow stick from maybelline for undereye circles (the thing that looks like a lipstick) and a cream foundation from shiseido to coverup redness, then go over all of it with loose powder foundation from bareminerals with a concealer brush.
