Conceiving "AFTER" Ovulation ?

Question

My husband and I are trying to conceive.

I Ovulated last night 8.29.08 around 9:00pm (Pacific Standard Time),

I understand the Egg can last between 12-24 hours and it takes the Sperm up to 8 hours to reach the Egg.

My husband and I did the "Wild Thing" around 1am and I understand it can take up to 8 hours to reach the egg.

Question:

Is it "probable" that we may conceive or is it likely that we missed our window?

Since the sperm has to literally "bump" into the egg, is it possible to get pregnant "After" Ovulation after having intercourse AFTER the egg has been released?

I got pregnant the day after my period stopped. I could not believe it, since I was counting the days and times just like you. It is possible. Good luck!

ya you have a chance still but if you guys did the "Wild THing" the night before or few nights before your chances would be higher because the sperm is there waiting for the egg to drop. well good luck

Gosh! How do you know you ovulated at 9pm? That's very spot on! lol

The egg is usually around for 24 hours.....so there's defo a chance.
