I am breast feeding but need to also supplement (please no lectures on why I am having to supplement, I am) my son will not have anything to do with powder formula (maybe it is a texture thing?) so I will have to go with ready to use or concentrate and wonder feed back on which you use and why. Thanks!

  1. This is just a shot in the dark, but are you preparing the powdered formula and then giving him the bottle straight away? My friend's baby would only drink the ready made stuff at first. She tried him on the powder and he wasn't buying it. He would spit up and refuse to eat. I suggested making it beforehand, refrigerating it, and then warming it up when time to eat. Sure enough, it worked for him. Personally I would try anything to get him to drink the powdered stuff. The other stuff is more money and if not used within the time frames, spoils rapidly.

  2. have you tried pumping and mixing breast milk with the powder formula after it's mixed?

  3. I will only say to Feed him your  Breast Milk to your Baby

  4. I'm not sure if there's much a difference between ready to feed or concentrate. I did read from someone that concentrate is cheaper than ready to feed but more expensive than powder. Either way, try one and if the baby still doesn't like it, try the other.

    Good luck.
