whats the formula for figuring out concentration, I have g and mL

  1. Concentration is measured in moles of solute per liter of solution.  First, take the number of grams of solute (the substance dissolved in the solvent, and divide by its molar mass.  The units of grams will cancel out and give you moles.  Convert your ML to L by dividing by 1000.  Put the two together by dividing the number of moles by the number of liters.
