Concerned Cat owner HELP

Question

My cat has been acting weird for the last two days, usually she's playing running around, and napping on her perch, but latly she been very skiddish scared of almost everything, espically plastic, I dont know what to do, she hasnt gotten beaten, or had a bad experience with plastic bags Im clueless. Help I miss my kitty being normal, what .

She has all of her shots, and she's not due for another visit till Sept.

There could be a chance that she got into something while you were away and it ended up as a bad experience for her.  You mentioned plastic bags... It may not be the bags themselves, but the noise they make.

Regardless, you should take her to the vet to make sure there's not a medical reason for it.  Even though she's skittish and acts fearful, there could be an underlying medical problem.

If that checks out alright, the next step I can say is to just do what you normally do with your cat.  Play with her, feed her, etc and just keep an eye out for what may be scaring her.  With time, she may get over whatever is scaring her.

If time passes and nothing changes, worst comes to worst, you could try contacting an animal behaviorist.  They'd be the best qualified to help you with your problem.

Something may have happened that scared her when you weren't around. Give her some time to get back to normal. In the meantime be extra sweet to her and try to comfort her and give her some extra treats. If the unusual behavior continues for more than a week or so you may want to have your vet evaluate her to see if it is a physical problem. Good luck with your baby.

Sounds like someone has been messing with the cat when your not around.  You don't say if you live alone, but with experience I have with cats, it is likely something  having to do with plastic bags scared the cat.  It's the sound the cat is relating to a bad experience.
