  1. It includes baby formula

  2. Actually, it would not include gallons of milk in plastic bottles. The plastic bottles the BPA is mainly in is in reusable polycarbonate bottles. This includes some baby bottles and some reusable sports drink bottles (like Nalgene bottles). It is also in the lining that is sprayed on to metal cans before food storage. Baby formula that is packaged in cans and other canned foods are affected in this way. The recycling number that is mainly found on the BPA containing plastics is #7 but not all #7 plastics contain BPA. I use the Nalgene waters as an alternative to bottled water and am now researching this issue. It is very confusing figuring out which items are affected but I am pretty sure at this point that milk in plastic jugs (#2 plastic most likely) is NOT affected.

  3. Yes, it does include plastic milk bottles.  It basically includes all plastic bottles.  The levels of BPA's appear to put baies and the young most at risk, but adults certainly could have a significant risk factor as well. Noone knows for sure the exact problems inherent from the current levels.
