  1. You could probably get herpes from kissing...

    Or mono.

    Not a whole lot of them are oral. Luckily.

It would depend on how "wet" the kiss is.  Dry lips to cheek, very safe.  Dry lips to dry lips, not quite as safe, but still pretty safe.  Wet lips start to cross over into the danger territory.  Full French open mouth kissing with lots of tongue action would be just about as dangerous as doing it with the body parts lower down.

  3. Many STD's can be orally transmitted...example: someone has Trichonomiasis, Gonorrhea or Chlamydia, they choose not to disclose this information because they don't think they need to when receiving oral s*x, the person giving the oral s*x then contracts it orally and next weekend is kissing on you, boom...you've got it orally too, and can then spread it orally and genitally to others.  People really need to have a better understanding of STD's : )

  4. mono can be transmitted through kissing but it's usually not very serious and is just like having the flu.
