Concerning amazon transaction?

Question

ok, so I recently bought something off amazon, and finally today I recieved an email to tell me it had been dispatched, but when I checked my bank account online, the money had not been taken out, ive been checking like every 2 hours since and it still hasnt been taken out yet, do amazon wait a few days before making the transaction due to their return policy or something? sorry if this is a silly question lol
