Concerning paranormal behavior?

Has anyone ever heard of a ghost hugging humans? And if so, what is the sensation supposed to feel like to the human?

Depends on the amount of energy the spirit has, could just be a quick touching to actually feeling the hug. The bigger question is have you lost someone recently? they could be letting you know they are ok and with you.

I have never been hugged by a spirit.  I have been touched by one on the neck.  It felt like dry ice touching my neck.    Other times I felt a cool breeze going in front of me.  Another time I felt something sit on my lap & it felt heavy & warm. the warmth came all the way up to my shoulders, I did not like it so I stood up.  Usually it is just a cool breeze & the room will get cold.

I've had it happen to me.It felt the same as a living person huging you.But you just didn't see them.

There have been numerous accounts of people being touched by spirits... from simple contact to intimate relations (See : succubus and incubus) and ALL have been documented as having ben akin to being touched by ice. Its very possible that you may have been hugged...or even passed through... some spirits follow old habits they had when living...and you could have very well been in the path...

good question.it is possible for spirts to embrace people.but i think the feeling to the person wouid  be differnt.but few posabiltys.cold. traped.or shocked.scared or if the person feels  at ease with the ghost.

I used to feel this a lot...esp. in church. It felt like God was hugging me...or "enveloped" me. Made me almost fall to the floor. It was the most wonderful feeling ever. Always made me cry (happy crying).  I don't know if this is what you're talking about. It hasn't happened anymore..since I don't go to church anymore. I really miss it. (People thought I was "pretending" or that I was "crazy"...Some experiences you shouldn't even tell people about!)

Edit..This was a warm feeling..not a cold one.

I have felt the presence of relatives that have passed away. but they seem to stand close and behind me rather than hug me. It feel kind of....like when a real person is standing there but not touching you. You just feel the presence.

In that movie Ghost with Demi Moore I think the ghost hugs her.

They don't "hug" humans.

The closest you may get is to be touched.

When a spirit touches you, it will be a cold, tingly feeling.  Depending on your sensitivity, the feeling may last for a few minutes.

Simply ask it to stop.  Most of the time they are just wanting your attention & not intending on hurting you.

I HAVE HAD ALOT OF PARANORMAL EXPERIENCES.

I HAVE FELT SOMEONE LAYING ON THE BED AGAINST MY BACK NEXT TO ME BUT, IT WAS NOT A COLD FEELING. I HAVE HEARD MY NAME CALLED OUT AND NO ONE WAS IN THE HOUSE. I HAVE HAD MY HOME PHONE CALL MY CELL PHONE ALTHOUGH ...HOW COULD THAT HAPPEN WHEN NO ONE WAS AT MY HOUSE. WHEN I ANSWERED IT WAS STATIC AND THEN HUNG UP AND WHEN I TRIED TO CALL MY HOUSE BACK ... NO ANSWER. I HEAR WHISPERS BUT LIKENOT IN WORDS BUT IN MY HEAD AND THIS HAPPENS WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG OR ABOUT TO HAPPEN! PEOPLE CALL ME A FREAK BUT, I KNOW WHAT I FEEL, HEAR, TASTE, TOUCH, SMELL AND FEEL. I SOMETIMES SEE SHADOWS, MISTS,AND PEOPLE JUST AS PLAIN AS I SEE ALIVE PERSON. I HAVE DREAMS THAT HAVE CAME TRUE WITHIN 3-6 MONTHS AFTER DREAMING THEM. I FEEL THEM PLAY WITH MY HAIR, TOUCH ME, POCK ME IN THE BACK OR ON MY SHOULDERS. SOMETIMES I HAVE FELT COLDNESS FOR NO REASONS AND IT CHILLS ME TO THE BONE. I BELIEVE A SPIRIT CAN DO ANYTHING TO GET YOUR ATTENTION AND I BELIEVE IF YOU ARE A GOOD RECEIVER THEN YOUWILL BE MORE APT TO PICK IT UP THEN SOMEONE WHO IS A NON-BELIEVER NOR ATTUNED. I BELIEVE THE SPIRITS ARE PURE ENGERY AND WILL DRAW OFF OF OTHER ENERGY IN MANIFEAST IT'S SELF. THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT SPIRITS SO, THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENTREASONS WHY ONE WILL BESEEN OR TRY TO CONTACT SOMEONE.
