  1. 150 mg is not a typical dose of Concerta. The general rule of thumb is that the maximum dose is 1.0 mg/kg of body weight (2.2 lbs are in a kg). 150 mg would be a huge dose... I don't think it is available in 15 mg tabs either...so I am not sure what sort of typo this might be.

The most common side effects of concerta are headache and insomnia (inability to sleep). As far as I know, depression is not a widely known side effect.  Why are you on a roller coaster of taking and not taking the concerta? Because of the depression? You need to talk to whoever prescrubed it for you, and describe the unwanted side effect you have. Perhaps you are depressed, and you have attention deficit disorder.  You might need an anti-depressant medication in addition to the concerta. (The interactions concerta can have with anti-depressants are tricky...so you may have to try several)

The most important thing anyone here can tell you is to talk to your doctor about your concerns.

I hope things work out well for you! Hope this helps!
