I'm 14 and started taking concerta a year ago. Ever since I've been taking it i've noticed and increase of sweat...mostly under my arms. I've always thought it was just the way i was built until i was reading some of the side effects for this medicine which was increased sweat. I try not taking concerta for one day and my sweat stopped. Any help besides not taking it anymore? please help...this sweating problem NEEDS to stop. I've tried to many things...deoderant...rubbing alcohol..nothing works. please help!

  1. go to stopsweat.com. I used to sweat under my arms. ruined a bunch of shirts till I bought this maxim stuff. was skeptical at first but it worked for me.

    good luck!!

  2. Talk with your doctor. There are other drugs he can prescribed for you that will work just as good for your condition but will not have that side effect.

  3. Try some "clinical strength" antiperspirant that you put on at bed time (it's sold on the same aisle as the regular stuff).  It works pretty well.

Also, make sure you are using antiperspirant, not just deodorant.

If it's still a problem, talk to your doctor about the medication and see if there is another one  you can try.

Also, don't forget you're 14 and still going through some hormonal changes, which can definitely affect sweating.  It might be a combo of you growing older, and possibly the medication as well.

  4. baby power ... or their is stuff you can get from the s*x shop ( your a little young for this) their is power that stops water from going through. I cant remember for the life of me what is called
