  1. 30 pounds....however sand and cement does not make a concrete mix...and you would never make any mix where the cement is more than the other ingredient


  2. I don't know where you got your mixture from?

    For high quality mix we use 1 part cement to 3 parts sand and gravel.

    For low quality walkway, where there is very little traffic I frequently go to 1-5 parts. If the concrete is for a temparary use, something that I only care about for a couple of years I've mixed 1 part concrete to 9 parts sand and gravel. Take a good look at what you are going to use the concrete for and go to work.

  3. You have a total of 5 parts to add (2 of sand and 3 of cement). So, take 75 and divide by 5 to get the weight of 1 part (15 pounds) and multiply by the 2 parts (30 pounds).
