Concrete part measurement?

what's the measurement for 1 part concrete? I'm trying to mix concrete powder w/ water and i do not know because they said mix 5 1/2 part of powder w/ 1 part water.... explain how to measure this using cups/tble spoon, etc.

use 5 1/2 cups concrete mix to 1 cup of water. Or use 5 1/2 gallons dry concrete mix with 1 gallon water.

51/2 handfulls of powder....with 1 handful of water....that should do the whole deal.

Basically they're just saying that the ratio is 5-1/2 of concrete for every 1 of water.  Depending on how much you need, that could be 5-1/2 cups concrete and a cup of water, or 2-1/4 cups concrete and 1/2 a cup of water, or any similar ratio.
