So we got this house and it has new windows, but we found out that they didn't seal the top of the window all the way so now there is condensation between the glass panes now it is really blurry.

Here is a couple pics of the condensation.

The seals are not broken because we have had that checked. They said there we're ways to get it out, but at that point my cell phone died and yeah....

  1. as far as i know, there is no feasible way to fix this problem, sorry man. it may end up easier to replace then to fix. However, there could be some way to do it, but I have never heard of it.

  2. I was a Window Rep for a major window company...and Corp Trainer....so with that. Thats almost always a seal failure. How the failure happened seems more of the debate. Chances are it could have been installed in a manner which the manfacture likes. Alot of the practices suggest, while very good construction techniques, might be considered overkill to some. With the said, contact the window company directly that the window is made from...it will be easier to just replace the sash than the glass more often than not.

  3. I agree there is no way to repair this.  The windows are factory sealed with an inert gas inside.  Once the seal is broken, air and moisture enter between the panes.
