Conditioning Dreads...What can I use to condition my son's dreads?

He has grown them for 6 years so they are well locked up, but really dry. What can I use to condition them besides regular hair conditioner? Also, based upon your suggestions, should it be applied to the hair when wet or dry or both? Thanks in advance. Jah Love.

  1. i have dreads to and i would say periodically some bees wax and locking gel and that sort of stuff

  2. Knotty Boy Dreadlock Conditioning Spray! That stuff works and smells so nice! I used to use it on my dreads. Also, a little beeswax works well.

  3. Try a natural product : Sabilla the people of Jamaica used it too.
