Question:

Cone chalk?

Personally, I think it should be banned. It just makes a huge mess of everything. Do any of you regularly use cone chalk or have an arguement in defense of it?

  1. Agree...the people who know how to use it also know alternatives.  Why not get rid of it?  I guess the only reason would be to keep the weekend crowd happy.  But that's not a good enough reason.

  2. No defense here shooter, I don't like it either. A lot of the pro players put a small pile of baby powder on a napkin or something and dab their fingers in it and then rub just a little bit on their shaft. They seem to make no mess at all. Personally I just keep a small towel in my case and wipe my shaft and hands with it when needed. I like Johnny H's answer , this guy has a good sense of humor!

  3. It makes the action of the cue smoother, especially if your hand sweats. If you know how much to use, you don't get chalk all over everything.

Think of it as pool's equivalent of baseball's pine tar.

  4. IT looks like they been changing diapers on the table i wont use it
