Confident Nestor to upset Blonde Fletch in Coral Regency - Heat 6
Blonde Fletch has been declared banker for the sixth heat of Coral Regency, taking place at Hove on Thursday, May 31st. Nonetheless, his chances of sealing the top rank are not absolute, as in-form, Confident Nestor, is geared up to fancy his
chances.
Blonde Fletch, the defending champion, was quite impressive in his last appearance over 695 metres. Doing a wonderful job all the way through, he stopped the clock in just 41.34 seconds.
He was excellent right through the event, but luck did not favour him that day. Consequently, the black dog missed the first position by ¾ a length.
Black Shaw’s son belongs to M. Wallis’ trainee and is coming into today’s race after a lot of preparations. So, it is probably the safest option to bet on him, considering his extraordinary track record.
However, Confident Nestor is not going to give up quickly. After clinching four emphatic wins at different venues, the black returned to Hove. He was expected to continue his winning journey, but failed terribly.
In a 695 metres race, he got crowded at the third bend and as a result, ended up fourth in the list. Although he was not prominent on the result card, it was by far a decent performance. Despite suffering a lot of mess, Never Give Up’s son did a fine job
to cover the distance in 41.34 seconds.
The aforementioned pair is going to face the powerful trio of Skywalkershearer, Fabulous Shanty and Ceroc Shaneboy. The winner of the 695 metres contest will be given a cash prize of £175.
Ceroc Shaneboy has generally underachieved in the recent outings and we don’t expect him to fire tonight. Fabulous Shanty does not have a huge experience over eight bends and therefore, it might be a problematic outing for her.
Skywalkershearer recently won a 687 metres contest at Wimbledon. However, the black dog could not maintain the good standards afterwards and lost his last race poorly.
According to our predictions, there will be a tug of war between Blonde Fletch and Confident Nestor. The latter will be able to upset the favourite, if he delivers his best. Good luck to everyone.
