My Company has different LAN Settings ( Different DEfault Gate Way and Different DNS Server setting) for every Office Locations. I find it difficult to keep changing the LAN settings every time i go to a different office. ( I have to do this sometime every alternate day). Id there a way i can automate the different LAN settings or Is it possible to change the LAN setting with a seperate batch file which can change the LAN settings automatically without going through the hassle of mutilple steps..

  1. There are two ways of doing this:

    1) DHCP - utilize Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol if available for this will provide  you everything you'll need to get connected.

or if DHCP is not a possibility

    2) MULTIPLE NETWORK CONNECTION - if you're laptop (I'm assuming you're using a laptop due to different locations) has a capability to have multiple connection, i.e. WIRELESS and ETHERNET, you can dedicate WIRELESS connection to LAN#1 while having ETHERNET connection dedicated to LAN#2.  Configuring each connection to conform with the appropriate LAN settings will provide you the capability to just ENABLE/DISABLE appropriate connections.
