Question:

Configured VUZE properly but still unable to get torrents to DL. What is the problem?

OK, Vuze is a bit resource heavy so I uninstalled it and tried uTorrent.

I didn't like uTorrent so I reinstalled Vuze.

Now I can't get Vuze to DL anything! I'm showing the proper number of Peers and Seeders... But I can't get any of my LEGAL TORRENT FILES from the VUZE main screen (Add Supported) to download... They are ALL stuck at 0%.

I went to http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and typed in my new Port and it says that everything is peachy port wise but I have no idea why nothing will connect.

I'm using Iolo's Personal Firewall that came with System Mechanic 8 Pro. I set up a Program Policy for Vuze and I thought that would be enough... Should I go back to Zone Alarm Fire Wall?

I paid for System Mechanic 8 Pro so I would like to use the complete, integrated package...

Please help me!

  1. Although Iolo is listed as a program that might cause trouble with Vuze, I am not sure that is the issue.

Iolo's issue would be more about CPU and crashing

Since you mentioned ad supported content there.  Have you registered a Vuze user account?  I think you may need one for premium content.

Are you able to download any of the free content? (no ads-like any music there-still legal)

If that is not the issue, then I would suggest posting at their forums (the developers are there quite often):

  2. Did you uninstall uTorrent before reinstalling Vuze?

    Use uTorrent. It's better.
