Confirmed line ups for E3 2011: Activision Blizzard and Square Enix - Part 2
Electronic Arts may be the largest publisher at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, but by no means is it the only one. Square Enix and Activision Blizzard have also confirmed enticing line ups for their respective press conferences as well and stirred up
quite a buzz with their pre-E3 trailers.
Square Enix is set to offer fans a wide array of their popular franchises, yet the single game players will be hoping to get a glimpse of, if not some time playing, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The third title in the cult classic Deus Ex series raised quite
a few eyebrows with its reveal trailer, and every bit of gameplay footage and in-game cinematic trailer since has only increased the hype surrounding it.
The controversial first person zombie survival horror game, Dead Island, is also set to get some air time. The game was frowned upon by many after its trailer’s graphical depiction of young girl getting bit, turned into a zombie and thrown out the window
of a hotel room to her death.
However, the game itself does look impressive and gamers will be hoping to get some more information on the title.
Next up, Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy 13-2 would also be a part of their press conference along with another highly anticipated RPG in the form of Dungeon Siege 3.
Hitman Absolution is almost certain to have a significant amount of coverage during the press conference with Agent 47 making his debut on next generation consoles.
A very realistic and intense trailer for Tomb Raider was revealed in the build up to E3 that has many, many young boys and just as many gamers looking forward to anything else Square Enix may offer during their press conference.
Completing the line up are Wakfu and Heroes of Ruin, which will have a hard time impress fans with all the other games Square Enix has on offer.
Whether or not all the titles will be available for gamers to play in the Square Enix section has not been confirmed, though one can expect Dead Island and Deus Es: Human Revolution to have playable demos.
Moving on to Activision Blizzard, with the entire world looking forward to see some more Modern Warfare 3 to be shared, with the multi-million dollar best selling series set to be the highlight of the Publisher’s line up.
While not exactly a game, gamers can expect to see more light shed on Activision’s take on social networking, Call of Duty: Elite.
Activision seem to have been reading plenty of comic books as Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-men Destiny are also set to make an appearance as will Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon.
Again, one cannot be sure if Activision decide to throw up a few surprises, yet one can rest assured a majority of the people who turn out for their press conference will be there because of three words, well two words and a number to be exact: Modern Warfare
3.
