Confirming a Birth Certificate?

A question was asked if your parents social security numbers are on your Birth Certificate - and I said No - In Michigan. Someone answered Susan is WRONG, cause I am in Michigan and they are. I pulled my Birth Certificate and there is NOT one social security number on there....so, many it goes by what the County you reside in wants to put on it - cause my answer is still NO - I am looking at it. What about yours?

Well i don't think any Birth Certificate, has a social security number

on them...

Mine doesn't.  I was born in PA.  I didn't think they were issued at the same time.

The format of birth certificates can change.  So, the answer to this question might depend upon the year of your birth.
