Conflict theory question.?

can some one explain From a conflict perspective why the U.S. has not had a black president.

  1. Because after race was seen as a relatively nonissue issue, all the black candidates from then on have repolarized race as the most important reason for their cause (Al Sharpton) none of these non-progressive candidates seemed desirable

  2. That one is quite easy.

    The conflict theory is a matter of the proletariat versus the bourgeoisie. The proles are the downtrodden masses while the bourges are in control. The black population is being pushed under by the white upper-class bourgeoisie, and that is it! Recently, there have been motions to break the power of the bourgeoisie.
