Conflicts about the five pillars of the islamic faith?

How could practicing the five pillars of the Islamic faith create a personal conflict with contemporary culture?

None. I practise the five pillars and Im living in a modern non-islamic city.

The only thing i foresee having a conflict is gathering enough of my leave to perform haj in the future Insyallah.

having to leave  work  to pray at certain time  when others  can not go  for a break  creates  upset.

  The first plillar is belief in Oneness of  Allah and prophethood of Allah, which creates problem in non Muslim countries. Because they do not like Muslims.

  Second pillar is salat which may cause hindrance during duty hours and annoy your supervisors. But Allah has given ample time for praying and the fard (obligatory) part of salat is short and hardly take more than 10 minitures. So my principle is :

      Let no work refrain you from salat and let salat not refrain you from work. Islam is a beautiful balance between this world and the hereinafter.

      when you pay zakat, you help the poor and destitute and causes no problem to any one.

      Hajj is the 5th pillar and will not cause any problem, if you have paid your dues to your relations, the society and the government. If you have usurped rights of others, your Hajj may not be accepted. So Hajj makes you more responsible to the society.

      Therefore, Islam has an overall positive effect on your life, be it your family, your company or your country.

What conflicts?

Profession of faith   (Shahada)  -  Unlike Christianity it does not mean pushing it in other peoples faces!!

Praying regularly - why a conflict here?

Fasting during Ramadan - It does not conflict with anyone else except for the bad Christians who say no one else should eat so as not to offend but that stupidity is not what Muslims want!!

Being charitable - If only more people were!!

Performing the hajj - Great for the airlines and travel companies and again where is the conflict going to come from?

1_Beliving there is no God but Allah and Mohammed is the prophet of Allah:

to make this massive power ,the creator of the galaxies as your God, depend only on him, and believe that this power love you as long as you are a good person ,and all your fear is from him only when you do the sin.

Nothing in this world can control you , you will always stand beside the right and never shake.

If you believe in all the prophets including Mohammed , you then didn't denied any of the God's religion , you then became above all of them , we collected all the truthes in our hands.

2_Praying:

Muslims way in praying is different ; they pray by both ,their bodies and souls.

the movements of the body in the prayer:if we discussed it in details we will know how much it is useful for the body as a daily exercise , and when the head move to the earth and transmit the excess electricity  and the movements which strengthen the vertebral column ,........

And the soul which is charged five times per day by faith and love of the God ,when ask him for forgiveness in the prayers and ask him to guide ask and we thank him.

3_Fasting:

Muslims don't eat from the dawn till the sunset ,nor drink ,nor do s*x,.... that's is necessary in Ramadan but some people prefer to fast also in other days .

No doubt that there is a great benefit in fasting from the medical side :clean the body from the harmful substances and poisons , organize the motility of gastrointestinal tract and the processes of digestion and secretion,..

Also when people fast and know the thirst and hunger ; they feel the people who don't find food to eat or water to drink ,and this become a motive for us to help them.

Also :this brought up our souls ; l am hungry but i will not respond to my stomach as i decided to fast this day for the God ; it learn us to control our desires not to let our desires control us , so it give us strength.

4_Zakah:

part of my money is not for me but for the needy as they are humanbeings as us , they deserve us to help them , how i can eat and my neighbour can't feed his children , how can i buy a new clothes and they don't find clothes to cover themselves.

how i ask this poor to love me ,and he see me own all this money and don't give him from it??

5_AL.Hajj

in all the laws of the material which we studied ,we knew that the small moves around the big ; in the atom  electron moves around the nucleus , the moon around the earth , the earth around the sun,  the sun around the galaxy and the galaxy around one bigger than it  ,till we reach the absolute big, the God.and we against our well move with the earth as nothing is  stable ; but we as muslims when do hajj ,we move by our will around the home of the God., the first place in it man worshiped the God in it.

Hajj excite the faith inside us .

the rich and the poor wear the same piece of clothes , pray together ,as each other ,all think only in the God.

Hajj is a great meeting and annual conference ; millions of people from different countries , all say Allah Akbar and read koran by more than 20 languages.
