Confucius say woman who puts husband in doghouse will soon find him in cathouse.

Confucius did not elaborate or advocate strongly on Democracy. But 3 generations later Mencius strongly recommended Democracy in saying:

People supersedes all , next comes the State, the rulers are the lightest or the last .
