I now on CD 14 with no positive OPK. This is my 3rd cycle of Clomid 50 mg and usually I would be ovulating by now. I started testing on Monday and since then all OPKs have been negative. I been having ovulation cramps all week on my right lower side of my stomach. Im wondering if I should continue testing until I get a positive? Ive baby danced on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and today. What should I do? No rude comments please. All answers will be highly appreciated.

  1. Maybe you need a higher dose. I have been testing since day 10 and still no pos. this is the first month. BABY DUST

  2. I would keep up with the BD every day or every other day and keep taking the OPK.  Maybe ovulation is a little later this month.  When I was on Clomid I O'ed on CD20.  Good luck!

  3. if 50 mg don't seem to work see if your doctor can give u a 100mg of clomid just pray baby dust to u

  4. Don't panic. This is normal!!!!

OK, so I just learned this from my RE's nurse. Apparently, whenever they give a patient 50mg of Clomid on the CD5-9 cycle, they tell them to expect ovulation to be around 4 days later than normal. Also (of course) your AF due date would then also be 4 days later.

So this is to be expected. Don't know which schedule you're on, but it can certainly happen. Best of luck!!!
