  1. If you select "stacking" and there are two or more vehicles in your household, you can potentially collect from both policies, yours and the other household member.  I believe that PA allows both inter and intra policy stacking.

For example, you are seriously injured in a car accident and the value of your case exceeds $200,000. However, the driver who caused the accident is uninsured.

You have two cars covered on your own car insurance policy. You have chosen to carry Uninsured Motorist coverage of $100,000 per person for each car, and you have elected to stack your coverage. You now have $200,000 of Uninsured Motorist coverage available to you.  A houshold member also has $100,000 in coverage, now you have $300,000 available to you.

However, if you do not elect to stack your Uninsured Motorist coverage, the most you can recover is your policy limit of $100,000.

I suggest you consider Underinsured Motorist coverage with the same stacking option.

Consider going to a local agent.  An agent will be able to explain your options in better detail.

  2. you could try to obtain as much as resource as you can by search the keyword in search engine,if you have good luck there, then your problem solved.however,if you could not find the answer by doing that, here is the relevant resource i prefered.http://carinsurance.expertsupport.info/a...

  3. What company is offering this? This doesn't sound correct. They may be saying you can't stack coverages or double coverage. This coverage would cover an bodily injury occurred from an uninsured motorist. Buying the uninsured motorist coverage is one of the best coverage options insurance companies have in my opinion. I hope you save a bunch of money on your auto insurance. The more you shop, the better chance you have of finding a great rate. I can't understand why auto insurance companies can charge a difference of $600 per person on a quote. Shopping will help you find the company on the lowest end of the rates.

  4. ok HERES YOUR ANSWER..

If you have only one vehicle then you get u3 (Unstacked) if you have 2 or more vehicles you have the option of (U) Stacking. What all this means is:

If you choose stacking it will cost you a bit more, but now your coverages are doubled (stacked) so if you have lets say 10/20/10 now you have 20/40/20 coverage.

    Hope this helps.

  5. Stacking is the application of more than one policy limit to the same loss or occurrence. In some jurisdictions, courts have required stacking of limits when multiple policies, or multiple policy periods, cover an occurrence.

For example, Uninsured motorist bodily injury limits of $100,000/300,000 on two policies owned by the same person may be added together to pay a loss. In this event, the total amount of coverage available for an accident would be $200,000/600,000.

  6. For automobile insurance the most efficient way to get a great rate is do a rate comparison on car policies. Make certain that you pick similar options with the same deductibles, car type, zip code, etc so that all options are a good comparison.

What I usually recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have discount insurers and will give multiple quotes on car insurance polices.
