Confused about ebay fees

when you sell and item on ebay and they take a certain percent of the final bid, does this include the shipping costs? say i sold an item for $10 and the shipping was $5. would i be charged a certain percent of $10 or $15? thanks

I think you'll be charged on the actual cost of the item itself, $10.  Paypal (if you accept it) will probably take out a fee from that too.
