I dont know the correct term for it but what he does is barly puts any power when he hits the ball. He always takes my power and translate its into my swing and 90 percent of the time he would get it in. Its a proven fact that he barly gets any spin and "dinks" it som odd times for the point. It just so d**n confusing because he isnt good hes just consistent with those annoying slow balls that get over the net everytime. I also know that he purposly aims for the back line since his shot is soo bad.. but thats what every shot should consist of.. well anyways any pointers?. i need to shut this horrid kid up. Btw he beat me 6-3 first set and second i was up 3-2 then my coach ended it =\. I am also an agressive player and im nasty at net (1st doubles). Next year though im playing singles since my partner is graduating.

  1. Move him - hit the ball to where he isn't.

Hit with slice - a dinker isn't going to do much with a ball that has back spin. Plus, the slice will keep the ball low, forcing him to stoop low.

Hit drop shots - make him hit the ball while he's moving forward.

Change your attitude - see matches against this guy as an opportunity to round out your game.

  2. serve and volley

  3. ok so your versing a pusher that uses your own power against u and just hits c**p balls so they go in?

since ur so "nasty" at net make him go wide with ur serve then rush net and cream every c**p shot he hits at you. taking the net will own them everytime.
