Im confused about what career I should go into nursing is it okay for a black male to enter this field and what other fields can I enter in a year or less. Because I need to work now or a.s.a.p. Thanks.

Where I live, in America, it is no longer the 1960s and black people can enter whatever profession they choose. Including nursing.

You can be a Licensed Practical (or Vocational) Nurse in about a year, but for a Registered Nurse it is a minimum of 2 years of school (but more like 3 when you factor in pre-requisite courses that must be completed before entering a nursing program).
