Im suppose to be 19 weeks but im measuring 18 weeks.Im one week behind.According to the new date,I ovulated on the 26th day of my 33 day cycle.Wouldnt my luteal phase be to short?? Almost every women has a 10-16 day luteal phase right? Or can it be the my baby is just going to be a small one?

  1. ultrasounds are not exact. they are simply an estimate, granted they are pretty accurate though usually. the baby measuring at 18 weeks when your 19 weeks is no indications that it will be small. now if you were 19 weeks and the baby was measuring say 14 weeks, then that would be cause for concern.

  2. with my 22 week scan i was measuring a week behind but now im back to right on time!! the baby is going to come when she (in my case) comes!! congrats did you find out what you are having

  3. measuring a week behind or a head is completly common... i wouldnt start trying to figure out dates of ovulation off of it because ultrasound dates or not 100%. relax a bit...you baby may deliver a week late too, making your dates "normal" to you again. dont stress, its fine.

  4. Wow, it amazes me how many women stress so much about measuring a few days behind or ahead with a pregnancy.

    RELAX.

You still have a very long way to go.

Full term newborns range from 5 to 10 pounds, with 7.3 as the average.

Plus, you have no way of knowing when you actually conceived, or implanted, to the exact day.

If your luteal phase was less than 10 days you wouldn't be able to get pregnant.

  5. Every woman can have a different luteal phase.  Anyways ultrasounds done after 12 weeks aren't as accurate and can be off by a week.
