Collingwood Vs Carlton is a Marquee match of the year. It doesnt matter what form either are in its always a good match and a hard fought victory.

Just like Crows Vs Power or Fremantle Vs West Coast these matches are bigger than any other side due to the rivalry and the adrenaline is higher.

Has anyone noticed though that its usualy the the side not in form who gets up for the win. Perhaps the thirst is more for the underdog and the favourite underestimates on the special days

Carlton normally beats collingwood. because they are such fierce rivals Carlton usually steps up when they play Collingwood. im pretty sure the Pies are scared of the Blues, who wouldn't when you could catch the blues ugly disease? Marc Murphy is pretty good-looking i have to admit. i cant believe he is my 2nd fave AFL player.

I think that certain clubs know how to beat other clubs because of the way their game plans match up. For example, Collingwood are one of the only teams who can match up Geelong. Another example is Sydney and West Coast, no matter how poorly West Coast is performing, they still came close to beating Sydney because they always do. Carlton just know how to beat Collingwood, and they performed better on the day.
