Confused & worried...?

This may sound odd but at times my v****a skin (labia?) is peeling. This isn't the first time, it happened once before but only now am I wondering what it could be. On my underwear I can see pieces of the skin & a yellow discharge but I am not sure. My v****a is also extremely itchy...these symptoms have only been happening for a few days. When I went on a trip it lasted for around two weeks. It eventually went away but I am curious. My C**t also hurts but I am think that is due to the activities my bf & I do. I have no idea if its an infection, for I am seriously not too sure of what a yeast infection is ...

  1. go to ur doctor it will have to be a woman that checks u but im sure u will be ok but best to get checked out just incase and she could help i guess that ur bf plays with ur C**t but its best to get that checked too just to be safe

  2. If the discharge is funky you have a little Urinary Tract Infection or a yeast infection.

Yogurt will probably fix it. Strange but true.

As for the peeling skin, this is probably a differnt problem. Dryness from baby powder perhaps. Avoid it.. use a mild soap with a moisturiser in it... don't get that soap inside your v****a... that can cause a yeast infection.

It is usually us guys that cause yeast infections... sorry to say. Make him wash before .. :)

  3. Both you and your boyfriend should go to the doctor and get a full-range STD test, right away.

A yellow or green discharge is a sign of an infection. Itchiness is also a sign of a problem. The peeling skin is definitely cause for concern.

The symptoms of genital infections can come and go in women -- the infection is still there, but it isn't as obvious at times. This is due to our constantly fluctuating hormones (menstrual cycle).

This doesn't sound like a yeast infection. A yeast infection is when your v****a itches and burns and has a clumpy, thick discharge that smells like bread dough. It doesn't sound like a UTI either -- a urinary tract infection is when it hurts to go pee.

Please do not ignore this and wait for it to go away -- certain infections can move up inside your uterus and ovaries and your urinary tract and can scar up your insides. If you are also having anal s*x, infections can move into your lower digestive system.
