Congestion after nose job?

I had a nose job about 8 days ago. My packing was removed about 6 days ago. I have disolving stiches in my nose and my cast is still on my nose, but I am extrmely congested. When mucus comes out of my nose it is completly clear which is comforting. When will this congestion clear up? Does the fact that I have a cast contribute to my congestion?? How does the cast affect my nose? Also how long does it take for the stiches to dissolve?

yes it will clear up

think about it you just had your nose broken and all sorts of crazy stuff done to it, plus with the stitches.....

be patient healing takes a while
