Congrats to the "- ovas"! Any speculations why former Eastern Europe is so dominant in women's tennis today?

At first this is women's tennis. It is unpredictable and there more wide undiscovered area for development. "-ovas" came from countries where surviving is a life stile. Sorry but they do that better than others. Don't forget tennis is not easy game especially for woman

unabashed determination. frankly,they want to see women succeed in something that otherwise would never happen for them. men in that part of the world dominate almost everything else,and this is one route that they could perhaps thrive in. which obviously has been very true. that's why women in other sports,like gymnastics for instance,have succeeded so much in that part of the world.

These women from Eastern Europe have been through tough times in life that hardened them to be tough or they would not have survived. They grew up with hot-tempered coaches and mentors. They developed a well-disciplined lifestyle... but when they migrate to North America, they got too much democracy that they mellow down later...
