Congratulations gift idea?

Question

my cousin just accepted an offer for a full ride and to play softball at a top university. she is the youngest person (a sophmore in HS) ever in this school's history to be offered a scholarship. do you have any ideas on a creative congralatory gift i could get her?

i was thinking of a cookie boquet made out of softballs and other softball related things but all i can find is baseball.

if you have any ideas please let me know!!

A gift certificate to d**k's Sporting Goods or some other sporting goods store where she can take it and go crazy. Only she knows the equipment she likes and wants so let her have a field day buying it.

Something she can use in college for softball: like shoes, new gloves or a softball net.

Any kind of college "survival kit" would be cool.  Like something involving her interests (softball & whatever else).  Include different things she'd need at school from day to day & maybe like a t-shirt of the school she's going to.

If you want to get her a cookie bouquet, you can call cookiesbydesign.com and they WILL make you one for softball.  They are GREAT to deal with and VERY reliable!!  I've dealt with them many times and they are VERY good!!

You can get her a basket filled with things from the college.  You can go to the college's website and get her a t-shirt, sweatshirt, mug, keychain, etc, and put them all together in a basket for her so she has some of the college gear. You can even get her a teddy bear from the school.  They have all of these things at the school store and you can go to the school online and go to their shop, and shop online!

You can go to Build-A-Bear and make her a softball bear!  Or Vermont Teddy Bear and have her one made from there.
