I mean really, we, Democrats and Republicans aren't happy and haven't been happy with Congress for a while now but then we selected two Senators from the institution we give the lowest approval rating to in decades and will make one of the President?

  1. Congressional approval rates are equivalent to  asking people do you disapprove of either McCain or Obama which would produce a very high number but each of them has an approval rating higher than 50%. I think that  after Bush most Americans would like a candidate that as voted on national issues  so we know where they stand, but it does leave them open to charges of flip flopping when they change positions.

  2. pretty stupid, agreed

  3. If anyone bothered to ask me I would also give Congress a low approval rating also but I am sure it will improve greatly after the Democrats achieve a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.  I have no problem with the individual Democrats in Congress.

  4. where do you come up with.....we.........we repubs had nothing to do with it
