Conia DVD Recorder MR910D

We are trying to connect our new DVD Recorder to our existing Conia CLCD 1930SD.The instructions are useless and we need help. They have provided us with two (2) multi cords (red/yellow/white) which we assuime that one (1) goes from TV to Recorded.HELP!!Norman Roy
