What happens when one of them dies? Does the other one die too or is he doomed to carry the skeleton of his brother until he dies?

  1. is this really appropriate for the Paranormal section?  anyway, no the doctors can cut the dead twin off of the living twin and use skin grafts to fix the wound

  2. Conjoined twins aren't paranormal.  They are a result of human reproductive biology.  If they share organs and one dies, then there is a possibility the other will die soon as well.

  3. And we thing WE have problems!!!! Even if they could remove the other twin....I imagine the remaining one would still feel about the same as someone would who lost a leg (the feeling that it's still there)...only 100 times worse...because the other twin wasn't just a "limb" of the body, but a person. You can probably find out  more about this if you go to the Health section.

  4. No, you see if one of the twins dies the other twin will just have a dead carcass that is attached to his body.  He will just have extra skin that he will carry around for the rest of his life until he dies. Sucks for them.

  5. Never thought of that one, a good question.

Both die usually the weaker twin is dependent on the stronger twin.

If ones goes so does the other, I guess.

  6. well it is possible for the twins to be removed when they are both alive. so if one dies than the other will just be cut away. i imagine that the doctors wouldnt keep the twins conjoined for that long that they will wait til 1 dies so i dont think u have 2 wry bout that, k?

  7. Conjoined twins that are not separated share vital organs or bones - and therefore circulatory systems.  I would imagine that the death of one - unless they shared a common heart that didn't die - would mean the death of the other as well.
