  1. Viral or bacterial could be caused by improper (dirty) contact lenses.  I suppose you could pick up allergic reactions from dirt on your lenses as well.  if you have conjunctivitis go see a doctor and get it cleared up please before you spread it to 100 more people

  2. Sometimes it can be bacterial, but more often Keratoconjunctivitis as it affects both the cornea and conjunctiva.

  3. How is this a question?  Yeah I have had it, it really sucks

  4. Bacterial

  5. Conjunctivitis (IPA: /kənˌdʒʌŋktɪˈvаɪtɪs/) (commonly called "Pink Eye" or "Red Eye" in North America) is an inflammation of the conjunctiva (the outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids), most commonly due to an allergic reaction or an infection (usually viral, but sometimes bacterial).

  6. yes all can be caused by improper care of contact lenses and corneal ulcers can also occur.  Very painful.

  7. Conjunctivitis is usually viral, but all of the above can occur.  Usually, it's self-limited, but it has potential vision-compromising effects if it's a serious case.  See an ophthalmologist if you have it.
