Sony 5 Piece Stereo System. (old model, but mmm good)
Hi I just moved house and attempted today to reconnect my stereo system back together. I connected all five pieces below to the amp' and had sound comming from the turner, tape deck (noticed base & output sounded lower on T' deck) on closer inspection I found the tape was playing but the amp' dial was on CD. I have been fannying around since changing the leads from out-put to input from deck to amp but when leads are put into phono socket I get allot of crackling feedback and it sounds worse. I know it must be a matter of inserting the leads in the correct manor, but i'm getting a head ache now & I would just like some straight forward step by step advice on how to insert the leads correctly so that when I turn the amp dial to Tape, CD, Turner, that is what will come on. PS.. I had the tape deck connected to the graph' EQ , would like this to flow.
(more PS... dont' know if this will help stereo leads are Monster Cable)
