Question:

Connect Xbox 360 to dvd/vcr to tv?

i was trying to connect my xbox360 to my vcr to my tv to record videos to a cassette but i dont exactly know how. i tried using connecting the xbox av cables to the input spots on my dvd player and conecting my dvd player to my tv using the output but all that shows up is my dvd player screen. is there any way to make this work?

  1. You can keep it connected that way that you said, but make sure that you have your VCR on the proper input channel. You should be able to record your gameplay that way.


  2. Plug your 360 RCA out cables into your VCR's AUX 1 or Video 1 area. Plug your VCR video out into your Video 1 in of your TV.

    Make sure you have your tv set to channel 3. Make sure your 360 is on. If you see the DVD logo, try pressing the "TV/Video" button on your remote.

  3. to record videos you connect your xbox360 to your tv then have the dvd/vcr connected to the tv then put the tv on the required channel and you should be able to record.
