  1. Something like this

  2. there are 3 ways of connecting laptop to a tv.

s-video - common in laptops, needs a TV that supports S-video capabilities

VGA (monitor port) - very common in laptops and desktops, needs a high definition tv or tv that supports VGA.

HDMI - Not so common, but can be found in some multimedia laptops/desktops. Requires a high definition TV that supports HDMI.

Yellow RCA - Not common in notebooks, but common in desktops video cards.  All of the TV's have this connector.

if you also want audio to be also heard in TV, connect the headphone jack to RCA to headphone socket in your laptop. then connect the RCA cables into your TV.

Hope i helped, i expect that you will appreciate my answer. :)

  3. HDMI is probably what your looking for. Has to be a newer tv to have an HDMI plug-in though. I don't think it's RGB. I connect my computer up to the tv too.

  4. You can use either RGB cable with Audio cable, Audio Video cable (white, red and yellow color) or S-Video cable with Audio cable

  5. Your looking for this:

Basically what it does if your video card supports it, and most likely it will, you connect it to the said video card and then to the back of the television and in your graphics card's menu type thing you have an option of projecting the images on both displays.

Good luck, and if you have any more questions feel free to email me.
