Connect to wireless network?

Question

I just got a computer back from a technician after he formatted its harddrive. The only internet icon showing up in the bottom right tray is the LAN one, but no wireless. I know that there is the necessary hardware in the computer because everything is plugged back in as it used to be when the wireless connection worked, and also nothing inside was changed. So how come that little wireless icon isn't showing up in the bottom right tray, so I can connect it to the network?

hi...im thinking you might night to double check the drivers that are installed back with your pc....try asking him if he reinstalled it...because if it is plugged in your computer should detect it...unless if that little antenna thing is not working...Good Luck!
