Connect two computers to share music files?

Question

All I want is my new laptop the school gave me to have all my music on my pc at home. I've searched Yahoo Answers and everyone say to connect the two computers to a network.

How do I do this??? I'm so confused.

get a usb stick or external hard driver copy all files from source computer the connect to hom computer and paste files in there
