Does anyone know how I can share files between two computers via an Ethernet cable connecting the two computers together? One of them is a Mac running Leopard and the other is a PC running Windows XP.

  1. You can use a cat-6 cable, or use 2 cat-5 and a HUB, or router.

  2. seriously its easier to use a pendrive.... but surely they are both plugged into your router allready ??????? - if not buy one...

  3. you have to get a crossover cable, as opposed to the patch cable you probably have

  4. You need to buy a network cross over cable, pretty cheap really about £5.

  5. Join them together with a crossover cable and set up network services on both of them.  Then each can see any shared files on the other.
